Breading Tips
If it has a nice crispy crust, the food you just bit into may have been breaded. Breading is a process that coats food in a mixture that turns into a crunchy crust. Breading is commonly used in dishes like chicken parmigian and pork schnitzel.

When breading an item, you usually dip the food item into three mixtures: a flour mixture typically containing salt, pepper and sometimes other seasonings, an egg-and-water mixture and a dry breading mixture which becomes the crust.
